Would you like for the students at Vandeventer Middle School to have access to the latest technology, informative guest speakers, and updated resources? Would you like for the teachers to have access to additional supplies to support learning in their classrooms? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then this is your opportunity to jump in and help support Vandeventer students and teachers! How can you help? You can help by donating from the various levels below to support the Vandeventer Vikings.

____ $25.00 - I do not want to bake anything or buy anything “store bought” for a bake sale.

____ $50.00 - I do not want to sell cookie dough, wrapping paper, popcorn or chocolate.

____ $75.00 – I do not want to walk or run in any activity that has the word “thon” in it.

____ $100.00 or other – I am making this donation to express my appreciation for not having to buy or sell anything. :0)

Academic Pentathlon

It’s time to start thinking about Academic Pentathlon. Academic Pentathlon will allow you, as a middle school student, a chance to start experiencing the benefits of Academic Decathlon before entering high school. Pentathlon is open to 7th and 8th grade students, and our topic this year is In Sickness and In Health: A study of Illness and Wellness. Study packets will be available in Mrs. Roberts’s room (E110) or Ms. Buzan’s room (D101) starting November 18th. The Qualifier will be held after school on Monday, December 9th. You must attend the qualifier if you want a chance to participate in this exciting opportunity! Please see Mrs. Roberts or Ms. Buzan if you have any questions.

BASKETBALL PARENTS: We are in dire need of volunteers for 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls basketball concessions. Come early to help before your child's game or stay after the game to help! We need YOU! Your high schoolers can help and get service hours! If we do not get volunteers, we cannot open the concession stand.
