Back to School Survey
Thursday afternoon, a form was emailed to all families from the Wausau School District, asking parents to commit their children to either in-person or virtual learning. We need a decision made so we can plan accordingly, as we anticipate a possible November 2nd return for students. The form closes Sunday at midnight. Please take a minute to complete this survey at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions about what either learning option will look like for your children, please call us before the weekend, and either Mrs. Berkhahn or Mrs. Taylor can provide more details.

Blessings in a Backpack-Stop by Today!
Every Friday the Blessings in a Backpack program will be available at Grant Elementary. Distribution will be done as a drive up on Oak street between 11 AM and 1 PM. Parents/Guardians can drive up and receive one Blessings in a Backpack bag per school age child. Numbers may be limited per school building, so it will be based on first come first serve.
Blessings in a Backpack is a program that is offered in the Wausau School District and DC Everest school district, to provide weekend meals for school age children. Any questions about the program at Grant, please contact Ashlee Karpinsky at akarpins@wausauschools.org.

- The virtual school day is from 8:30-3:30 Monday through Thursday
- Students should be signed in by 8:30 each day
- Friday is a day to make up missed work
- If a child is going to miss any part of the day please let a teacher or the office know
- We ask that students try their best each and every day
Attendance will be taken each day
Daily attendance will be taken between 8:30 - 10:00 AM by the core classroom teacher.

If no communication is received from the parent/guardian, the student will be marked absent.
Sign up for breakfast and lunch during virtual learning
Grant families are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch each school day throughout the 2020-2021 school year at no charge! Your child(ren)will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. Families absolutely MUST sign up their school aged children on the Paypams site. Families will order food each week and will choose the pick-up location for this food during virtual school.
