Fundraiser tips:

• Ensure your child turns in $60 when they sell their fundraiser kit
• When a student sells their kit and they want another kit, the parent must sign the envelope and $60 must be enclosed in the envelope.

Our TJ Austin Elementary of Tyler PTA will be conducting a school fundraiser. Students who participate will be provided a kit that has assorted candy bars and cookies for $2 each. Students that sell a total of 3 kits or siblings who sell 5 kits will get to participate in the Monster Party Limo Experience. The kick-off to the fundraiser will be March 28th (7:55 AM in the gym) and we encourage all students to wear festive Hawaiian clothing or bright colors.

When: Kickoff March 28th @7:55 AM in gym (wear festive Hawaiian clothing or bright colors)

What: Assorted box of candy bars and cookies for $2 each

How: A form will be sent home to parents to sign for students to participate on March 28. When the form is returned students will receive their kits.

Prizes:

1. Students who sell 3 kits (siblings who sell 4 kits) or more will be able to join the Monster Party Limo Experience.

2. Top class in each grade level will get snow cones.

3. Top 2-sellers in the school will get to be principal for a day!!

4. The teacher with the highest percentage of participants by March 31st gets a Jeans Pass for a week!

Car Riders:

• Parents will need to get in the car rider line to pick up their children.
• Do not park on the side of the campus or across the street, get out of your vehicle, and walk up to the entrance of the campus to get your child. You will be asked to proceed to the car rider line.
• Please ensure you leave your car rider tag up until your child is in the vehicle.
• If a parent or someone else is picking up a child, you or they will need a car rider tag. If you don't have a car rider tag you will need to come to the main office and bring your I.D. to pick up your child.

Walkers:

• Parents will need a blue tag to pick up their child from the library
• If you have a child that is ECSE, Pre-K, or Head Start and a child that is K-5. You will be allowed to pick up your as a Walker from the library due to traffic flow.
• Do not park in a parking spot, across the street, or down Franklin street for your child to walk to your vehicle. You will need to get in the car rider line and we will redirect your child to the car rider area and you will need to get a car rider tag.

Pasajeros en automóvil:

The bell rings at 7:50 AM each day, and learning begins at that time! Students are LATE if they arrive at that time and must be dropped off at the front of the school. If you are dropping your child off at the front after the bell rings, you need to get out with your child, sign them in, and provide our attendance clerk with the reason for your child's tardiness.

Weather permitting, this FRIDAY, APRIL 8TH, students who displayed positive behavior consistently during the the 3rd Nine Week period will be able to participate in our positive behavior celebration. Water is at the center of our fun! If your child is able to participate, they will need to bring a towel and change of clothes to attend the fun.

Reminders will go home with participating students this week. If it is too cool or raining, we will announce an alternate date.
