Dates: War started Febuary 21st 1916 and ended Decemeber 16 1916 The location: Front between the German and French armies, on hills north of Verdun-sur-Meuse in north-eastern France.

The battle of Verdun began on February 21st ,1916 and ended December 16, 1916. It was the longest single battle of world war one. Fakehenhayn was a German cheif and had plan credibility that also had major weakness the German troops had started the attack. The troops had 1200 artillery guns witch targeted at 25000000 shells at verdun region.
