Big Believe Winners

BRIT kids

BWT Trust is working in conjunction with BRIT kids offering workshops beginning in September. More information can be found on the Corby Business Academy website.

Stars of the Week:

Miss Connellan has nominated Year 9 students Bethany, A-Jay, Kelechi and Mason for superb contribution to English lessons. Also nominated is Michael 7SW for a positive attitude and imaginative writing in English.
Miss Ferns has nominated Year 8 students Megan, Ines, Emily, Patrick, Ellie, Kayleigh for their positive and hard working attitude in Maths.
Miss Benson has nominated Luca 10S for exceptional effort in Geography.
Mr McRae-Smith and Miss Watt have nominated the Year 11 students who took part in the German conference this week.
Miss McGrath has nominated 7ST and 7TA for doing really well in their end of topic test in Science.
Mr Cox has nominated the Year 9 Drama students for their work on Greek Theatre this week.
Mr Rogers has nominated Fitzgerald 11S for excellent course work in Health and Fitness. Also nominated are Finlay 7TE and Jack 8C for great attitudes during PE lessons.
Mr Horne has nominated Daryl 10T for his good use of the quadratic formula in Maths.
Mr Harley has nominated Tamiska 8T who was the star baker in this week Great BWT Bake Off.

Attendance Matters

Every single day a student is absent from school equates to a day lost of learning. At Corby Technical School we pride ourselves in maintaining excellent attendance. Our target is to achieve and maintain a whole school attendance of above 96.5%. We will be giving you weekly updates on our whole school attendance, the tutor group and house who achieved the highest attendance this week.
