Greetings Bobcats!

We hope you are enjoying the final days of Summer 2017. We are looking forward to seeing your beautiful faces as we begin a new year on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at KHS! Our faculty and staff have been preparing to bring exciting and engaging lessons to you!

Parent Drop-Off is still in front of the PAC, UNLESS you are a student athlete, in which case you can be dropped off in front of the gym. We ask for everyone to enter the parking lot next to the field house in order to keep traffic flowing the same direction. In the afternoon, we need to exit out to the north and 6th Street.

Please remember to pick up a new schedule on Wednesday. If you reserved a locker, your locker number will be located on your new schedule. In addition, your assigned lunch and the new bell schedule will be listed on your new schedule.

School begins at 8:15 a.m. Students may enter the cafeteria at 7:45 am, and they will be dismissed to their lockers and classrooms at 8:05 am. If you are a senior with morning off periods, please enter the building through the main entrance. Due to safety concerns, all other entrances will be locked after 8:15 am. Students have five minute passing periods and one 20 minute activity/study hall. School will be released at 3:45 pm.

We realize that there may be some apprehension for our 9th grade and new students as you transition to a new school. Rest assured that our staff and students will help you navigate and answer questions. Welcome to the Bobcat Family; we are glad you are here!

The Junior Class is selling class t-shirts in order to raise funds for the 2018 Prom. Students are encouraged to purchase a shirt to show your Bobcat Pride. Each class has their own brightly colored shirt to stand out in the crowd. Order forms are available in the office. For more details, contact Mrs. Jennifer Kragh at jennifer.kragh@krumisd.net.
