Greetings! At Ashland Ranch Elementary School we believe in working collaboratively to provide support for all students to grow. Children should attend school regularly and consistently, so that we can help your students make daily progress in their literacy skills, numerical skills, and social skills. Good attendance habits will help make your students feel welcomed in their classroom and allow us to team together for better engagement in school and community activities. We care about every student and want to see them succeed everyday!

Please feel free to communicate with your child’s teacher if there are any ways we can support your child’s attendance.

Every year families are asked to complete their annual update. The video below explains how to complete the process and why it is so important. Thank you for doing your part.

The safety of our students is a top priority for us here at Ashland Ranch. Below we have outlined the procedures we have in place. A couple of important things to remember include:

• no parent parking, drop off or pickup, in the bus area before or after school. This is for buses only.
• students should not be arriving on campus before 7:45am, as they are not supervised.
• please do not drop off or pickup students along Ashland Ranch Road.
• be prepared with your pickup sign in your window when you pull into the parking lot. This helps tremendously in moving the traffic.
• please be kind and courteous to the crossing guards and follow their instructions.
• please be off your phone when you are in the pick up/drop off line, so as to avoid any distractions.

The Arizona Department of Education will waive fees for breakfast and lunch for students who qualify for reduced-price school meals, beginning January 2023. This investment will make school meals free for thousands of Arizona students who are eligible. The funding will last through the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

It was a great week in the library. Kindergarteners and 1st graders learned about picking good fit books. 2nd-6th graders learned about how books are organized in the library and began learning about the Dewey Decimal System.

Our Fall Book Fair is quickly approaching and will be held August 28-September 1. In order to make this event a success, we need volunteers. If you are able to help, please sign up here: Book Fair Volunteers

We love our volunteers! Library volunteers help students with checking out, finding books, shelving books, and helping students as needed during activities. If you are interested in helping out in the library, please sign up here. If you’d like to be added to the library email list, please fill out this form.

Supplies: We are a very active library and always working on projects. Some supplies we use a lot are tape (all kinds), straws, ziploc bags, sanitizing wipes, paper towels, pipe cleaners, cereal/cracker/snack boxes, and toothpicks. I also have a Library Amazon Wishlist

Treat Trolley

We are excited to bring back The Ashland Ranch Treat Trolley for another year of spreading cheer and appreciation to our amazing teachers and staff! We are looking to stock our cart with some goodies. If you are able to donate one or more of the items below, we'd greatly appreciate it.

You can drop off items in the front office or send them in with your child. Please be sure all items are labeled "Treat Trolley". Your support and generosity are most appreciated!
