When we publish this report, we're not just transcribing information, we're CURATING, SYNTHESIZING and REFLECTING on student learning. This is what drives our planning for the future.

MILESTONES 2015-2016

-Curricular collaboration: 29 (+13 from last year)

-"Middle School Monday" curricular resource eblasts: 12

-Literacy promotions: 18

-Displays: 14

-Professional development for building and district: 6

-Four Author Visits (1 virtual)


-Established library as research, collaboration and creation center: a Learning Commons hub

-Completion of two-year "Reimagining the School Library: The Learning Commons" program with Cooperative Educational Services

-Introduced iPad/Google Forms sign-in for better analysis of usage

-Introduction of pathfinders to enhance student learning via GoogleSites

-Deeper use of NoodleTools collaborative and assessment citation features via Single Sign On

-Introductory Makerspace and "MAKE the Connection" video (see below)

-"What to Read Wednesday" weekly Morning Show segment featuring/by students

-Initiated "Middle School Monday" eblasts and associated GoogleSite

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: LLC as collaboration and creation hub

Project work and iPad usage increases.

PROMOTING LITERACY: Circulation increases 7%; Team Orion leads!
