Swalley named All Iowa High School Girls Swimmer of the Year
2022 All Iowa High School Girls Swimmer of the Year, Olivia Swalley, was recognized by Mayor Dierenfeld and the Johnston City Council during the council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Olivia began swimming at age seven and fell in love with it. Olivia was joined by her coach Darin Robertson and her parents. Congratulations, Olivia!

Congratulations to our students who competed at the Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA) state debate in Ankeny! Aravind B. placed 3rd and Shereyas S. placed 4th out of 80 students who competed in Congress. Alan Qi and Advik B placed top 4 at the tournament in Public Forum.
