Dear Field Parents and Guardians,

We hope you have had a nice week. A few important reminders are listed below:

• Please register your children for next year. The deadline is quickly approaching on March 22nd. Registration only takes a few minutes and you can pay the school fees at a later date. As of now, we only have about 50% of our students registered for next year. Thank you!
• Please complete the 5Essentials survey for Field. Your parent voice matters! We need 20% participation in order to receive the results from the parent survey. Click here to complete it.

• Please be sure to review the upcoming March calendar - we have a number of days off this month.

• Parent-teacher conferences are March 7th. Teachers have reached out directly to families to schedule conferences. Given the limited slots in spring, not all families will participate in conferences. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

• The school calendar for next school year (2024-2025) is published on the District website: https://www.d64.org/about/calendar-overview. Please be sure to review it prior to making summer plans. Students first day of school is August 14th.

Tickets are available for the Field School V Show 70!. This year's show, ...And We Turned Out Fine, is another sketch comedy written, produced and performed by Field parents. The show is light, moves quickly and offers fun for all ages. Tickets are $10 each, proceeds from V Show 70 benefit the Field school playground project. Purchase tickets here.

March 17 @ 2:00 pm

(Enter on the Elmore side of the building). The show is approximately two hours which includes an intermission.

The Field Yearbook team is in need of photo submissions for:

1. Halloween parties ONLY

2. Field Follies

3. Holiday Sing

4. Band

5. Science Olympiad

And any other Field event where there is a special picture shot of your child enjoying their elementary year at Field School (spelling bee, young authors, battle of books, etc.!

It's time to purchase this year’s 2023-2024 Field Yearbook! Yearbook purchase is open on the PTO website. Each book = $25 and the deadline to purchase is April 26th, 2024.

Mark your calendars! Here are important dates regarding registration for the 2024-2025 school year.

• January 16th, 2024 - Registration begins for ALL District 64 students. (This includes *Preschool and Kindergarten)
• March 22nd, 2024 - Registration closes

*Parents that are registering their child for preschool for the 2024-2025 school year, will not be invoiced for tuition and fees at this time

More information will continue to be communicated to families. Plus, all important info will be posted on our Registration Page as well.

• March 7: Parent-teacher conferences from 4-7pm
  
• March 8: No School for students (records planning day for teachers)
• March 8 & 9: First weekend of VShow performances (see above info to purchase tickets)
• March 11: IAR starts for students in grades 3-5
• March 12: 4th and 5th grade Chorus Concert at 7pm in the North Gym
• March 15 & 16: Second weekend of VShow performances
• March 19: No School
• March 21: Board of Education meeting at 7pm
• March 25-April 1: Spring Break
• April 2: Welcome back to school!

Field PTO Parents Night Out: Tickets are still available for our Field Parent Mixer on March 1 at Harp & Fiddle. Buy your event or raffle tickets by February 29 at FieldPTO.org. We’ve got so many great raffle prizes, we wanted to sweeten the pot! So, each person from the grade level with the most attendees will each get an extra ticket added to the raffle to increase their chances of winning. Raffle proceeds go towards the playground.

And even if you can't make it to the event but want to contribute to the playground fund, you can buy a raffle ticket at FieldPTO.org too.

VIP & Me Luau: SAVE THE DATE! Ticket sales open Friday, March 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM (CDT). Volunteer opportunities to be announced soon.
