Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Lunch Bunch
The November Lunch bunch was a success. Students enjoyed activities, books, and a movie about Thanksgiving. Close to 120 students participated in this.
The next Lunch Bunch will be held on December 17. The theme will be Star Wars. Students will be able to sign up starting the 10th. Participation is limited to 20 students per lunch shift.
New Books
The library has purchased nearly 200 new books. These books cover a wide range of topics and genres.

Library Use At Lunch
Students may come to the library during lunch. Students must eat their lunch prior to coming to the library. To come, students get a pass from the person in charge of lunch. Passes are limited to the first 15 people who request them daily per lunch period. Students coming during lunch may get books, use the computers to work on school work or play CoolMath games.
Virginia Readers' Choice Reading Promotion
Students who read a VRC book and fill out a form will be entered in a drawing for prizes each month.
Students who read 4 or more will be eligible to attend the voting party in the spring
Library Lessons
The library had worked with all grade levels. Lessons taught with the library in November include; animal research, creating presentations, primary and secondary sources, creating book trailers, and citations.

Students with a library card from the PWC public library have access to nearly 20 additional databases. In order to access these, a valid library card must be entered.
