Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

GCSE 2018 Edition

Our highest achiever was Alexandra Clarke who was awarded amazing grades in Maths, English Literature and Language, History and Biology. Alexandra is planning on continuing her studies, completing her A levels and then hopes to attend University to complete a Psychology degree.

GCSE Results 2018

We are delighted with our students' GCSE results as, in only our second year of GCSE exams, we have achieved some impressive figures, particularly in core subject areas and our students are celebrating some amazing individual results as well.


Many have chosen to continue their education at CTS and we look forward to seeing them in Sixth Form.


Others will be attending college courses or apprenticeships.


Congratulations again to all those celebrating their GCSE success we are so proud of you all. We also want to thank all our staff, whose daily professionalism and dedication makes a difference to all our students and their outcomes.

Reminders:

  • Monday 27th August is bank holiday and school will be closed. We will reopen Tuesday 28th August.
  • Monday 3rd September and Tuesday 4th September 2018 are staff training days and school is closed to students.
  • We will reopen on Wednesday 5th September 2018.
  • New Year 7 students will join us on Wednesday 5th September.
