It's National Picture Book Month!
Let's Celebrate Picture Books in the FSUS Library!
November is National Picture Book Month!
Picture books are AWESOME! They help students build vocabulary, improve their reading fluency, and they're just plain FUN to read!
For the ENTIRE month of November, elementary students in grades 1-5 will be allowed to check out FOUR (yep, I said 4!) books - as long as at least 1 of them is a picture book! We have over 4,000 picture books to choose from, and many of them are written on a 4th grade or higher reading level.

Teachers - Check 'Em Out!
Teachers, if you would like to check out a basket of picture books to keep in your classroom for the month of November, go for it! You can come choose the picture books yourself, or we will gladly pull some great titles for you. Just let us know!
I also encourage you to read picture books aloud to your students as often as you can this month! If you would like suggestions of picture books that support your curriculum, just let me know!
