Principals' Message
Dear Families,
Thanks to all the students and family members who helped us celebrate American Education Week. We enjoyed our school spirit week and having so many guest readers visiting classrooms last week!
We were also excited to recognize our Quarter 1 ROAR Award Recipients. Students were recognized in the areas of...
- Responsibility - Showing learner agency by being prepared for learning, completing tasks & fixing mistakes to keep learning and growing.
- Ownership - Showing self-advocacy by being honest and trustworthy, asking questions when help is needed & accepting new challenges.
- Academic Effort - Showing perseverance by working even when it’s hard, trying to solve problems myself before I ask for help & asking questions and sharing ideas
- Respect - Showing social responsibility by exhibiting kindness with words and actions, working well with others to solve problems & being an active listener.
As Thanksgiving break approaches, students are still very busy growing their brain, heart and body power each day. Below are a few examples of learning during lessons in Music, Media, Social-Emotional Learning, Reading & Writing.
The TPS Staff wishes our students & families a safe, healthy & happy Thanksgiving holiday! We hope your time together is filled with gratitude and joy.
Yours in education,
Michele Baisey
